Hi, I am Kayla!
While I am currently unable to ride, horses have been a lifelong passion of mine. Photography has been a really great way for me to stay close to the horse world, and grow as an artist. My business is named after my heart horse Raven who passed away in 2019. Naming my photography business after her is my way of carrying her with me.
I've spent the last four years pursuing a Bachelors in Fine art and Digital photography through ASU. During my journey obtaining my degree, I have gained a new appreciation for the beauty of our world. While I do enjoy equine photography, my absolute favorite thing to photograph is my children. Watching them discover the world is an amazing privilege, and I am blessed to be able to document that through my photography.
What really drives my passion is capturing the special moments in the quiet times of life. Rodeo is so much fun to photograph, but we can't forget about what it takes to get there! Many of my portrait sessions focus on the connection of people, animals, and place. My graduation project addressed the quiet moments around horses, and i encourage you all to check out the tab "In the Quiet" for more detials!
Also, shout out to my amazing husband and in-laws! Without them I wouldn't be able to do what I do. Their continued support helps make my dream a reality.
